Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Welcome to Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy - a space where your pain & symptoms are validated, understood, and most importantly, treatable.
As someone who loves pelvic PT and has experienced pelvic floor issues first hand, I know how crucial it is to find support in navigating these challenges. You're not alone in this journey, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
Whether you're experiencing pelvic pain, menstrual discomfort, issues with insertion, incontinence, or any other pelvic- related concerns, pelvic physiotherapy can offer relief and empowerment. It's not just for pregnancy or postpartum - it's for any woman at any stage in life.
In a world where women's health concerns are often dismissed or overlooked, I want you to know that your experiences are real and valid. You're not crazy, and this discomfort isn't normal. Together, we can address your pelvic health concerns and work towards solutions tailored to your personal needs.
I'm so glad you're here because this will be different. Pelvic PT isn't scary - it's a safe space where all options are on the table, and you have full control over your treatment plan. You don't need to undergo an internal assessment if you're not comfortable, and we will always take things at your pace.
We don't have to tackle everything all at once. Pelvic PT is about progress, not perfection, and we'll work together to find the right approach for you.
*For those that do not identify as women but still experience pelvic floor issues, know that I am currently accepting male clients depending on their condition. Pelvic floor health knows no gender boundaries, and everyone deserves access to effective care. Please email me directly at ashley@bonephysio.ca to discuss.

Vestibular Physiotherapy
The balance system is a complex system that works 24/7. If nothing is wrong, we aren’t even aware that the balance system is working, but when it’s not working a variety of symptoms will alert us that there is a malfunction.
Over 6 million Canadians will have a vestibular problem at some point in their lives which can lead to symptoms of dizziness, vertigo, instability, light-headedness, imbalance, or special disorientation (inability to accurately determine where your body is in space) among others.
Several other symptoms can occur with dizziness such as:
• hearing problems (e.g., hearing loss, distorted hearing, pressure in the ears, ringing/buzzing, sensitivity to sounds, etc.)
• vision problems (e.g., blurred vision, double vision, light sensitivity, etc.)
• cognitive changes (e.g., problems concentrating, slowed thinking, difficulty multi-tasking, decreased mental stamina, etc.)
• psychological changes (e.g., isolating yourself, anxiety).
Vestibular rehabilitation involves assessment and treatment of people with dizziness and balance dysfunction related to disorders of the vestibular system (inner ear) or central nervous system.
Take the first step towards reclaiming your life from dizziness today by booking an appointment.
